We encourage a strategic approach to professional development. We have identified three select career destinations that present distinctly compelling career opportunities for Simon Business School students.
In 2019, the majority of our graduates were hired into finance, marketing, and consulting positions. Learn more about these career destinations, as well as the academic concentrations and co-curricular resources that can help you succeed in each field:
Your Career Action Team
Once you arrive on campus, you’ll be placed in your Career Action Team (CAT), small groups made up of students with similar career interests, as well as members of the Benet CMC and Office of Student Engagement. Alumni often join the mix too, providing insights into your desired field.

By networking with your classmates and sharing your job search experiences, you and your team members will make one another stronger candidates. You’ll also work with a Simon Career Consultant and a Simon Career Advisor, who will guide you on everything from exploring your job options to writing cover letters. Combined, these career search resources will help you stand out and position you to succeed.

Our MBA Career Directors actively engage with our students from day one. Over time, they come to know each student’s technical and leadership skills and how those unique attributes can position them for success.

Each student is assigned a Career Director who can help you assess your background, explore your options, develop positioning materials, apply for positions, and support interview preparation.
